2590 Wind Driven Rain Louver

The Ventex 2590 is a five inch (127 mm) deep, extruded aluminum stationary wind-driven rain louver. The advanced design utilizes centrifugal forces to capture water droplets as air passes over the sight-proof drainable blades, maximizing weather protection even at higher airflow velocities. The 2590 is AMCA certified for Wind-Driven Rain and Air Performance.

The 2590 represents the highest level of weather protection in the Ventex stationary wall louver range. The centrifugal water capture mechanism and sight-proof drainable blade profile make it well suited for critical building envelope applications where conventional louvers would allow unacceptable levels of water ingress at design airflow velocities. It is commonly specified for mechanical intake openings on high-rise residential and commercial buildings in severe weather climates, coastal locations, and other high-exposure environments where maintaining a weather-tight building envelope is a priority.
