4800 Industrial Damper Series (Airfoil Blade)
The Alumavent 4800 series is a heavy duty industrial galvanized steel damper with a formed airfoil blade design, available in two models: the 4875 with 12 GA. frame and 2 x 16 GA. blades, and the heavier duty 4885 with 10 GA. frame and 2 x 12 GA. blades. Both models support parallel and opposed blade operation with side linkage concealed out of the airstream. The airfoil blade profile delivers lower pressure drop compared to vee-blade designs, making the 4800 series well suited for high velocity industrial HVAC and process air applications.

The 4800 series is designed for high velocity industrial applications where the lower pressure drop of an airfoil blade is preferred over a vee-blade design. The 4875 is suited for standard heavy duty installations, while the 4885 provides a heavier frame and blade construction for larger openings and higher structural requirements.
