WHD-45 & WHD-90 Weather Hoods
The Ventex WHD-45 and WHD-90 are weather hoods providing effective and economical weather protection for HVAC duct openings. Standard construction uses corrosion resistant 20 GA. galvanized steel with zinc plated self-sealing fasteners and a 19 GA. galvanized birdscreen with 1/2" x 1/2" openings, finished in mill.

The WHD-45 and WHD-90 weather hoods are suited for protecting exterior duct terminations from rain, wind-driven debris, and birds. The two models offer 45° and 90° hood configurations to accommodate different installation geometries and airflow directions. Standard galvanized steel construction provides reliable corrosion resistance for typical outdoor exposures, with optional aluminum construction and powdercoat finishes available for more demanding environments or architectural applications.
