3160 / 3161 / 3165 / 3167 Extruded Aluminum Control Damper
The Alumavent 3160/3161/3165/3167 is an extruded aluminum airfoil blade control damper suitable for use in either exhaust or intake systems. The center-pivoting blade design balances positive and negative pressure on both sides, reducing the force required to open the damper. Dual-durometer extruded santoprene rubber blade and jamb seals provide lowest-class leakage characteristics. The 3160/3161/3165/3167 is AMCA certified for Air Leakage and Air Performance.

The 3160 series is well suited for low to medium velocity exhaust and intake applications in commercial and institutional buildings where low leakage and reliable airfoil blade performance are required. The center-pivot blade design reduces actuator torque requirements compared to off-center pivot designs, making it a practical choice for larger damper assemblies and multi-section installations. The salt water construction option extends suitability to coastal and corrosive environments.
