51AVS / 51AHS Type A Static Fire Damper
The Alumavent 51AVS/51AHS is a 1-1/2 hour label static fire damper, UL/ULC approved for use in HVAC systems where fans automatically shut down in the event of a fire alarm. The interlocking curtain type blade design is suitable for use in fire separations with a fire resistance rating of 2 hours or less.

The 51AVS/51AHS is designed for installation in fire-rated wall and floor assemblies where the HVAC system fans shut down automatically on fire alarm activation. The interlocking curtain blade closes under spring tension when the fusible link releases, providing a reliable passive fire barrier at duct penetrations. It is commonly specified in commercial and institutional buildings where 2-hour or less fire separations require compliant duct penetration protection.
