51CRVS / 51CRHS Type CR Static Fire Damper (Round)
The Alumavent 51CRVS/51CRHS is a 1-1/2 hour label static fire damper, UL/ULC approved for use in HVAC systems where fans automatically shut down in the event of a fire alarm. The Type CR blade configuration is specifically designed for round ductwork, with blades positioned outside of the duct airflow path. The interlocking curtain type blade design is suitable for use in fire separations with a fire resistance rating of 2 hours or less.

The 51CRVS/51CRHS is designed for installation in fire-rated wall and floor assemblies using round ductwork, where the HVAC system fans shut down automatically on fire alarm activation. The Type CR configuration accommodates round duct geometry while keeping the blades outside of the airflow path during normal operation. The interlocking curtain blade closes under spring tension when the fusible link releases, providing a compliant passive fire barrier at round duct penetrations.
