RSCD Round Low Leakage Control Damper

The Alumavent RSCD is a true-round low leakage control damper featuring a rugged double skin blade design suitable for low to medium velocity and pressure round ductwork applications. The double skin blade with encapsulated EPDM blade seal provides tight shut-off when closed, and the beaded and externally reinforced casing ensures rigidity across all sizes. The RSCD is ideal for 2-position or modulating electric actuator operation or manual balancing.

The RSCD is designed for round ductwork systems where low leakage and reliable shut-off are required. The double skin blade construction and encapsulated EPDM seal provide consistent sealing performance across the full range of available sizes, from 4" to 24" diameter. It is well suited for VAV systems, exhaust and intake applications, and manual balancing in commercial and institutional HVAC installations where round duct is specified.
